Tehran: West attempts to arm terrorists in Syria hinder conference
July 13, 2013
Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for the Arab and African affairs Hussein Amir Abdullahian said that the West attempts to send weapons to the terrorists in Syria won't form a good start to hold an international conference on Syria.
"The West attempts to arm the terrorists in Syria won't be good for holding the conference... the Syrian government does its best to combat terrorism and achieve reforms," Abdullahian said in a statement to IRNA.
He affirmed that the national dialogue, the halt of violence and abandoning the decision to arm terrorists could make the international conference on Syria a success.
