Obama received the highest Israeli award

1) On November 15, 2010, U.S. President Barack Obama praised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for urging his cabinet to accept a U.S. proposal to extend a freeze on West Bank settlement building for 90 days. Under the plan, Washington would block UN resolutions critical of Israel, and supply Israel with fighter jets worth $3 billion. The US government also promised Israel that after the 90-day moratorium, they would not seek an extension, and settlement construction in the West Bank and East Jerusalem (all of which is illegal under international law) could continue unabated.

2) In February 2011, more than 100 nations voted for a U.N. resolution that would have condemned illegal Israeli settlements and halted any new construction. The United States vetoed it.

3) On February 19, 2011, Israel said it was deeply grateful to the United States after it vetoed a United Nations resolution put forward by the Palestinian leadership condemning Israeli settlement activity.

4) On  Oct 27, 2011, Israeli jetfighters engaged in aerial bombing of the Palestinian city of Khan Yunes in the Gaza Strip.

President Gamal Abdel Nasser: right to self-determination

President Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt supported the Palestinian cause and the right to self-determination. In 1956 after the United States had refused to grant aid for building the Aswān Dam, Nasser nationalized the Suez Canal. The nationalization led to the 1956 Arab-Israeli War, in which Great Britain, France, and Israel jointly attacked Egypt.

Tunisia arrests salafists recruiting mercenaries to fight in Syria

The Tunisian security forces arrested Friday eighty-six salafists working to recruit militiamen in order to send them to the Syrian Arab Republic and fight for Al-Qaeda-affiliated Al-Nusra terrorist group.

In the meantime, local authorities stated that six thousand young men have been forbidden from travelling to Syria, after plots revealed they were planning to fight for Al-Nusra Front against the national military.

Moreover, the arrest of the military commander of the so-called Ansar al-Sharia organization Mohammad al-Awadi enabled Tunisian security to access important information about terrorist operations and assassinations that was planned by the organization, media sources reported.

The sources pointed out that the organization was planning to assassinate Prime Minister Ali Al-Arid and Secretary-General of the Labor Union Hussein Abbasi.

Al-Shorooq newspaper quoted posted on its website confessions of Mohammad al-Awadi , known as Tawil (Long), one of the most dangerous terrorist members in Tunisia and the military commander and the second-man in charge in the banned Ansar al-Sharia who was arrested in the western suburbs of the capital.

Awadi admitted that he was the main supervisor of the planned assassination of three important figures of Sousse: the writer Olfa Youssef, the political Kamal Marjan and the journalist Um Ziad.

He also admitted that six salafist militants belonging to Ansar al-Sharia were to implement the murder.

Politically, Ennahda Islamic movement agreed upon the new road map to get country out of political crisis, providing for a first national dialogue session in the presence of the President, the Speaker and the Prime Minister, as well as officials of political parties.

Everyone wants to be a 'hero': Belgian salafists in Syria

November 14, 2013 - 14:56

Jejoen Bontinck remains in cell

After a conversation of half an hour, the Belgian Youth Court decided today to release a seventeen year old Antwerp Syria fighter who last week returned to Belgium.  He fought three months actively on the side of Isis, the most violent terrorist movement in Syria, which also sent threatening emails to Belgium.

But fortunately not everyone is immediately released again.

During a closed session this afternoon, the Court decided that the Syrian fighter Jejoen Bontinck stays in prison. Lawyer Kris Luyckx don't wish to comment on the news.

Jejoen Bontinck was detained after his voluntary return from Syria to Belgium.  On the day of his return, he was arrested at his mother's home.

The Belgian salafists are lucky that they can come back home while the Syrian population is victim of the ongoing fighting in Syria.

Former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt is a fierce advocate for military intervention.

On July 1, 2009 he was elected President of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe group in the European Parliament.

In  2011, he pleaded in the European Parliament in a demagogic way for a multi-state military intervention in Libya (“The weak position of the EU makes me sick”).

In 2013, he pleaded in the European Parliament  in a demagogic way for a military intervention in Syria ( “The time for peace talks is over, we need action now. If the UN doesn’t react, then NATO should”). At the same time he invited the so called Libyan opposition in the European Parliament and he promised them arms supplies.

Verhofstadt is a Board Member of the Brussels-based, Brussels-quoted Sofina holding (petroleum gas and oil platforms).

On September 11, 2012, the American diplomatic mission at Benghazi, in Libya, was attacked by a heavily armed group. Weapons they used during the attack included rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), hand grenades, AK-47 and FN F2000 NATO assault rifles, diesel canisters, mortars, and heavy machine guns and artillery mounted on gun trucks’.

The FN F2000 is a 5.56×45mm NATO bullpup assault rifle, designed by FN Herstal in Belgium and made its debut in March 2001 at the IDEX defence exhibition held in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.

Latest News Syria: Belgium supports terrorism

Belgian minor who was fighting against the Syrian government arrested and released

A seventeen year old Antwerp Syria fighter who last week returned to Belgium, was arrested and brought before the juvenile court. After a conversation of half an hour, the Court decided that he could go home. He was allowed to go back to school.

That is a precedent for all other Syria fighters who returned to our country and are currently in jail.

The teenager fought three months actively on the side of Isis, the most violent terrorist movement in Syria, which also sent threatening emails to our country.

Experts fear that this precedent will have consequences. Adults who fight in Syria know very clearly where they stand. When they return they will be arrested and they come to court on suspicion of participation in a terrorist organization.

Minors going to fight in Syria are now encouraged.

Belgian jihad organizations are recruiting in a very intense way on the internet among Antwerp minors to fight in Syria.
