Provinces, (SANA) - The army units continued operations against the armed terrorist groups in several areas on Wednesday, killing dozens of terrorists and foiling their infiltration attempts.

Army targets terrorists' gatherings, destroyed heavy weaponry for terrorists in Aleppo

The army targeted terrorists gatherings in the areas of Khan al-Assal, al-Kindi Hospital, Tallat Azzan, al-Marjeh and Bustan al-Qasr.

A military source told SANA reporter that the army also destroyed terrorists' rocket launchers pads, mortar launchers and vehicles loaded with weapons in the areas of al-Jadida, Kweris, Rasm al-Abboud, Aleppo Central Prison, Kifr Da'el and on Khan al-Assal-al-Mansoura and Aleppo-Damascus highways.

The army clashed with terrorists in Aleppo's old city, killing a number of them and destroying their pick-up truck.

The army continued pursuing terrorists near al-Umayyad Mosque, Antakya School, al-Fateh Institute and al-Lairamon.

Army destroys terrorists gatherings in Idleb

The armed forces continued pursuing the armed terrorist groups in Idleb Province and targeted and destroyed many of their gatherings across the province.

A military source said that the army units eliminated terrorists' gatherings in the areas of al-Arba'een Mount, Areha, al-Nahleh, Nahlaya and Bazabour, killing scores of the terrorists and destroying their weaponry and equipment.

Army eliminates terrorists, seizes narcotic pills in Damascus Countryside

A unit of the armed forces on Wednesday eliminated an armed terrorist group that tried to infiltrate from Tal al-Haradin into Kanaker in Damascus Countryside and seized narcotic pills and weapons, a military source said.

The source told SANA that the seized weapons included a machinegun base mounted on a 4WD car, sniper rifles, automatic rifles, BKC machineguns and RPG launchers, in addition to seizing narcotic pills and leaflets for Jabhat al-Nusra.

Units of the army bombarded terrorist gatherings in al-Qaboun neighborhood and towns and villages in Damascus countryside during a series of intensive operations against the terrorist dens.

An official source told SANA reporter that units of the army clashed with terrorists in al-Qaboun and Jobar  neighborhoods and killed 10 terrorists.

In Harasta city, the army eliminated many terrorists and eradicated entire terrorist groups along with their weapons and ammunition.

In Douma, an army unit carried out an operation destroying machineguns and various ammunition and killed 11 terrorists.

In Darayya, units of the army clashed with armed terrorist groups killing no less than 15 terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition.

Army foils infiltration attempts, kills dozens of terrorists in Homs

The army units foiled terrorists' attempts to infiltrate the Syrian lands from Lebanon and destroyed terrorists' gatherings and hideouts in many areas in Homs.

A military source told SANA reporter that an army unit and the border guards clashed with terrorists who tried to enter the Syrian lands from the border areas of Joseh and al-Nu'aymat in Talkalakh countryside, killing most of the terrorists and destroying two vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition.

The army achieved significant advance in the area of Maheen and eliminated the members of several terrorist groups.

Terrorists' gatherings in the areas of Maheen, al-Dweir, al-Khaldyeh and Deir Foul in al-Rastan countryside were targeted and destroyed.

An army unit inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists who were making fortifications and barricades in Bab Hud Neighborhood.

Army units eliminate terrorists in Hasaka countryside

An army unit eliminated two gatherings of terrorists in the village of Maghloujeh in the western countryside side of Hasaka province and in Tal Barrak in its northern countryside.

In the village of Tal Eid in Qamishli countryside, the army destroyed terrorist hideout used by terrorists from "Liwa'a al-Tawhid" to plan their criminal acts, along with the weapons and ammo inside it.
